Under construction - Granollers Hospital Multipurpose Building
March 2022. In September we started constructing the Extension of the General Hospital in Granollers, result of the Catsalut's sanitary emergency contest, co-authors with Sulkin Marchissio Architects. An emergency and ICU extension of about 15,000m² to build and design in 9 months under BAN LEAN methodology. Come on team!

New Newborns Unit Sant Joan de Déu Children's Hospital
March 2022. Sant Joan de Déu, the first hospital in Catalonia to change its model so that mothers and fathers can spend more time with their babies. Proud to have been able to contribute with our experience to the architecture project. Thanks for making it possible.
Special recognition of hospital buildings Covid-19, for the Polyvalent Sanitari building at the Germans Triàs i Pujol Hospital in Badalona
In addition to the awards awarded in the various categories and exceptionally, the jury made special recognition for the coordination, project and construction of the five multi-purpose health buildings belonging to the Hospitals Moisès Broggi de Sant Joan Despí, Arnau de Vilanova de Lleida, Parc Sanitari Pere Virgili de Barcelona, Germans Trias i Pujol de Badalona and Hospital de Bellvitge in the Hospitalet de Llobregat. August 2021. The Sant Joan de Déu Hospital’s facade was renovated for several important reasons: The first was to expand the interior of the rooms by incorporating an extra space. The second was to reinforce further the corporate identity, grant greater identification and externalize this Hospital’s modernity in the building itself. Regarding the choice of colors, it was decided to take the corporate colors and transfer them to the facade.

May 2021. Llongueras Clotet Arquitectes in a joint venture with Sulkin Marchissio Arquitectes ACSA, Sogesa, Bosch Pascual, Proisotec Enginyeria and Masala Consultors, is the winner of the 1st prize in the CatSalut Tender. The objective is to respond to the needs arising from the COVID-19 pandemic to increase capacity, resolution and improve care for emergencies, surgical patients and critical patients.

New Postgraduate building and car park
Universitat Abat Oliba Fundació San Pablo CEU
July 2018. Llongueras Clotet Arquitectes together with Gabriel Verd Arquitectos and Buró4 have finished the executive project of the “New academic bulding and car park for the Universitat Abat Oliba CEU” at Bellesguard 22 in Barcelona, for the Fundación Privada Universidad Abat Oliba CEU.
It is currently under tender process.
July 2018. Llongueras Clotet Arquitectes received the commission for the “Construction of the new Newborns unit of Hospital Infantil Sant Joan de Déu” intervention which is within the Master Plan of the facility drafted by Llongueras Clotet Arquitectes.
Scheduled date for the conclusion of the project drafting, October 2018.
Castle refurbishment and museographic adaptation

June 2018. Llongueras Clotet Arquitectes has finished the executive project of the Refurbishment, architectural consolidation and adaptation to provide a canvas for the museological and museographic projects of the Sant Pere de Ribes’ castle.

New Pediatrics ICU (Intensive Care Unit)
Hospital Infantil Sant Joan de Déu
May 2018. Opening of the “New Pediatrics Intensive Care Unit (UCIP) at the Hospital Infantil Sant Joan de Déu”, intervention under the hospital’s Masterplan, drafted by Llongueras Clotet Arquitectes. The unit is composed by two areas with daylight where the infirmary controls are optimized thanks to the strategic envision of the 24 boxes (placement, transparency, automatic doors, polarized glass). New space provided with cutting-edge technology which offers more comfort to the families given that each box is furnished with a bed for the accompanying person, a space for their personal items and an independent regulation of temperature.
New headquarters for the Associación Española Contra el Cáncer (AECC)
April 2018. Opening of the “new headquarters for the Associación Española Contra el Cáncer AECC” at Travessera de les Corts 268 in Barcelona. Designed by Llongueras Clotet Arquitectes, is a new space of comprehensive attention for oncological patients in which the goal is to create a space that doesn’t remind them of cancer but an encouraging meeting point.
