Cancer Outpatient Hospital “the missing forest”

Children cancer service, the hospital’s hallmark. Young patients and their families are invited to an amazing experience that will help distract them during the long and continuous therapy in the unit.
In the middle of the main courtyard, a forest is represented, simulating the hospital pine forest that could not be put in this location. Its architecture reflects the feelings experienced in a forest. The tree structures and treetops, the light, the clearings, the shadows, the materials and colours of the forest overlap with real and virtual objects.
Behind this world of magic, the functional and technical elements are always present but out of sight. The child does not receive a hi-tech and cold service, but a world of surprises, dosed according to their predisposition at every stage of the disease.
This forest hides independent and isolated medical stations to provide excellent medical response whenever necessary.
